My family and I will be coming down to texoma for the week of Thanksgiving. We have been Having Thanksgiving at Catfish Bay for over 30 years. We have always bought wood from the little old man taht had tthe wood yrd in Kingston, however last year we heard he passed away and the yard is empty now. Does anyone know of someone who is selling wood around the Catfish bay area.
I would appreciate any help and hope the stripers keep getting fatter for the next three weeks

There's a place here in Mead, across from Baptist Church that has it.Don't know what'll be left by T-Day with the weather coming. There's a guy by me that sells a stack as fast as he gets it split. He's just off 70 on Willow Springs Rd,across from Carter's Motel.

You can go south on Texoma Parkway to the Dark Corners store, turn west for about a mile and there is a guy selling firewood at Woodville on the north side of the road. I passed there this morning and he had abut two ricks split and ready.

This is a little off the subject but can anyone recommend somebody who can install a wood burning stove
in my house-I'm in Pottsboro on the lake.  Nothing like a good fire.

You might try some of the local builders as they should have contacts to do that .

I had a stove installed by a guy that does work for Fan and Flame on Texoma Pky in Sherman. can't remember his name but he did good work. Call them and they can put you in touch with him.

Have any of you considered a pellet stove? Seem safer then a wood and easier to vent.
