Fishing has been good most of the month. Noticed a lot of birds working between railroad bridge and washita point today. However I went to platters for shallow fishing as it has been good. Caught 15 fish in around two hours this evening and all were overs. Kept one to grill over fire for dinner and released the rest. 4 more days and back home I go for big 12 championship. Hope to come back in a couple weeks.

We was there over Thanksgiving weekend with a full moon and they were tuff to get just took more time. We caught them up in Alberta creek almost to the back of it. 20 foot of water

Thursday i put in at 377. Very murky, rode all the way past big mineral, the islands, up to the cross. Its all murky brown . It did get more blue as you go east. Looked more blue towards Quashita pt but not enough gas in my ole 2 stroke to get back to 377 from there!!! Should have put in on east side but wind was brutal

I also noticed that there are a lot of loons diving and the seagulls seem to be working in conjunction with them so when you see a swarm of seagulls a lot of times now it’s the loons pushing the baitup, not fish, The birds have not been very dependable for me lately they seem to be flying in straight lines diving periodically but just going in one straight direction and there’s never really a stopping point so I think the fish must not be surfacing like they were at least from my experience the last few weeks

Kjin, Those straight flying birds I see are cowbirds, not gulls and are not great fishermen.
