I've been fishing Texoma once or twice a year since the late 70's.  That should date me a bit.  I met my buddy from high school there and fished May 7-8-9.  We got stormed out most of the 8th but fished 10/11 hours on the 7th and 9th(when I wasn't throwing the net)  High water with bait in the flooded areas has every hungry striper looking for a meal.  We caught em on shad, salties, cut bait, and slabs.  Most fish were overs and were released.  We went to circle hooks early on so mortality was minimal.  One larger fish swallowed a slab and died so we pulled off anchor and picked it up.  Texoma is a good now as it has been in years or we just got lucky May 19.jpg  Striper 2.jpg  Striper.jpg
