appeared we were the only idiots that got out in the 39 degree rain late Friday. However we were rewarded with many fish over 10 pounds topped by a 17 pounder. Doing the dead sticking thing main lake....just incredible winter fishing. Perhaps the best I have seen in my twenty years on the lake. Appreciate y'all posting your reports, you helped this bass fisherman put the puzzle pieces together!

I was feeding cows yesterday and was thinking "I bet it would be a killer day to fish" everything just seemed right, I probably should have gone today, I have already had 2 calls wanting me to take them.
I guess I have been missing my German Shepherd Mica too much lately so I am spending the day with her instead. Honestly!

Very glad for you that you were rewarded with a good trip, you earned it.

I agree about getting out today. I just went outside and could not believe how nice it is up this way. I should be on the water right now!

Kahuna , I thought late winter or early spring was when you prune roses back . At least that's what I always have done .

Prune nothing, you need an ice pick here this am!! All the ditches and any standing water was frozen when I got in last night at 10, the wind was trying to blow the cover off my boat.
