I went to Texoma this weekend with a buddy of mine. While we were signing in to Eisenhower Park, we ran into Mike who was looking for the fishing pier. I asked Mike if he wanted to fish with us and he was in! We took off in search of schooling fish and they were there but they were moving fast and we just couldn’t stay on them. We decided to go thump. I headed to my usual spot on Tabletop and marked a few fish on the graph so we dropped some baits and turned on the thumper. We had our first fish within minutes and caught a fish every 10 minutes or so along with a bunch of small catfish. When the fishing slowed down we tried a couple of other spots with no luck until we had to head back. We lost one other fish we hooked drifting but all in all was a fun trip. Mike and Marshall both caught their first Striper with Mike’s being a fat 28” fish! Enjoy the video...

If you don't have a thumper, just bring a 9 year old kid with a stick.

. My buddy was going to bring his son and his drum set next time. I will try to post some pictures of the graph and how it fills up. I took this at Lewisville before but these were all small sandbass.

Scub, You surely have the Ferrari of thumper! If only it had a silencer attached. I am working on a fish getter too, it's a 4 oz weight with a stick of dynamite.
