Long week so I took my time getting out this morning. Hit Preston Point about 11:30, marked fish and was getting lots of hits but all short strikes deadsticking. Picked up one nice box fish and put him back.
Broke out the trolling gear and ran Preston point and picked up a nice 25" 5 pounder.
Looked west and thought I saw birds. Broke out the binoculars and sure enough, tons of birds working. Still trolling and absolutely kill it. I'm catching and releasing 7 and 10 pounders. Doesn't take long before I have a boat show, but everybody played nice. I went back to deadsticking but no dice. Trolled again and picked up a nice 31" 10 pounder. Guys in the boat close by were watching and it seemed to shock them I revived and let that fish go. Another guy was throwing lures and nothing was working for him so he started trolling. I hope he picked some up as he was trying hard. Will be fishing all this week, their biting good in the afternoon. Bubble gum and chartreusse are the colors I'm using. Trolling 150' of line.

Conditions sure looked "fishy" this past weekend, at least it was cloudy & overcast at the house (S. of Denton).
Lookin' at your report & pics I guess it was....[smile]

Good Report...!!!
