Ridiculous fishing today. The best I've seen on Texoma. My son John and I started off deadsticking the usual spot the usual way. John knocks down his personal best at 31" and 12 pounds. We wear out the overs letting 7 and 10 pounders go. Put 2 box fish in the ice chest and leave a spot for another over. The birds start working and in a few minutes it looks like a scene out of the movie The Birds. One other boat there and they are throwing umbrella rigs with chartreuse cohos. They are tearing them up and we pull out the trolling gear. IT'S ON! Pick up a 32" 12 pounder released. John gets a 32" and 27" on the same rig. It wore him out. Had a monster simply level one of my 9' trolling rods straight down and snap my 30 pound test and loose a rig. Boat show starts and we decide to take it in. What a day. Fishing is the best I've seen. Get out and go fishing. "In the afternoons"
