Hunted early with everything out of range then hit the lake about 10am. Too early. The bite has been about 12:30 on. Found fish in the river channel, marked them good but no dice. Went to the honey that's been producing. No dice. Uh oh. Head over to Soldier Creek area and mark them good. Whoop out the deadsticks and its game on. Wore them out for about 1 1/2 hours. Lots of overs from 23" to 30". Pulled around 8 box fish but turned everything loose. Deadsticking chartreuse salty super flukes in the sunlight and bubble gum when cloudy. 56' of water with 30 pools and shad spray.

I'll second that, Great Report !!!

This dang workin' for a livin' really cuts into my fishin' time...[frown]

Right now I'm Tired, Broke & Hungry....
Guess I could quit my job.....Then I'd just be Broke & Hungry...
But I'd have more time to fish....[smile]

Work is highly overrated! 3 day holiday plus vacation time comes in handy. Getting close to being full time retired and full time fisherman, hunter, poker player! Then I guess I'll be tired, hungry and broke too! [smile]
