Cold fronts always seem to mess up the fishing. Got out about 12 and no bites for about an hour. Moved over to where I ended up yesterday and marked them pretty good. Started picking up some nice box fish 17" to 19". Picked up a nice 25" and put him in the box. About 3pm the birds started, pulled everything up and headed over with it all to myself. Immediately hang a nice 29" 8 pounder, release this one to find a bigger one to finish off the day. Get both Captain Macks rigs back in the water and BANG! Good fish on. Ends up 31" 11 1/2 pounds. Good enough, put him in the box and bring it in. Same same as yesterday, chartreusse salty super flukes in 56' of water with 30 pulls. Taking off the next two days to get presents. Till next time have a great Christmas.

There have been lots of good reports from down there the last few weeks. Glad to see you been having some fun as well.

I figure your trolling those rigs, how fast are you presenting them? I had good success my last trip down there with them, I plan to try and get back asap.

In between 2.5 and 3 mph chartreuse 6 inch grubs and bubble gum super salty flukes working well at 150 feet. Catching big fish under the birds all females, they have quite a few eggs now. All fish fat. Come on out and get some while the getting is good.
