Launched out of Highport and headed north. Wednesday found very few birds working until about 2. They worked for about and hour and a half at the mouth of a cove. We ended up with 63 stripers and sand bass.
Friday was the same. No birds. Looked from the islands to table top. Nada. No wind either. Only thing that worked was marking some fish in an area and start thumping. Fish would stack up under the boat. We would throw out a sassy about 20'and reel up. If no hit, push the button and go back down. Caught 22 till the winds came up with a vengeance.
Water temp was 59. Close to deadstick time!
Glad to finally get back to Texoma!
