Well Saturday’s Cold Front came through right on schedule, geeez it was a blowin’!!!
We knew it wouldn’t be easy, but we fought the wind anyway and the wind won, lol.

We’d hoped to do some Bass fishing up in some coves and creeks, but it was a challenge.
Started in Buncombe, didn’t take long for things to get windy there, ran to C. Mills, then Walnut but still windy.
We caught a handful of fish, worms and crankbaits, actually caught more Stripers than Bass.
As far as fishing we didn’t stay out long enough to pattern anything, except there’s some Stripers shallow and they’ll hit a crankbait.
Everything we caught was released, here’s a few pics of our day.

The South wind was fading fast when we launched, had brief slack time, like a few minutes, then she quickly turned to the North.

I took a picture looking into Buncombe just as the cold front was beginning to arrive.

Saw Hook shaped cloud, but it didn't really lead to any good fishing, hahaha.
