Put in High Port and went west of the islands, fish surfacing but only small sand bass. Went east of High Port by North island and started to rain and then big splashes.  Kept two over 20 inches but left with 10 limit.  Everything started about one hour before dark.  The rain and cloud cover really helped since I was out there for 3.5 hours.  Caught all fish on chrome rat L trap.  The large stripers were in 3.5 foot of water, surfacing on the flat.

Took a pic of big one and sent to Ax with 10/7/17 card but I'm guessing he isn't buying?

Btw Reelmates lost a monster, about twice as big as our big one. He's still whining. [wink]

Great fishing it sounds like. The upcoming weather pattern will only make it better. The water temperature will soon be in the 60's. BRING IT ON !!!!
