Limited out on cats at 10:00 yesterday morning running 6 rods. It's pretty simple around the islands right now. #2 hook right off the bottom with cut shad anywhere you mark bottom feeders in the transition areas from shallow to deep. I've been seeing them a lot between 25 and 45 feet.

Spent the rest of the morning and afternoon not catching striper and fighting the high wind and tsunamis. It was hell getting my anchor to hold unless I was fishing uphill from it in a direct line with the current. Finding fish and that particular scenario was not a fruitful exercise.

Very nice!!  What boat do you drive?  I was out there about that time.  I saw one FishMaster come by on the TX side of the islands.  Was that you??
