Roger Brown and I hit the water at 6:45 and 5 minutes later it was game on for 2 hours .
Threw top water  for two hours and caught all overs (25-30) plus we missed that many .
All were released to fight another day and we headed to Patsy's for our pancakes and bacon .
* foot note , Two weeks ago i was complaining about no overs and now it's no box fish .
                    Ain't it grand !!

I got to fish the past 5 days . I am tired . I need a good feeding and a couple of gallons of ice tea . Fished early , fished late , fished in the middle of the day . caught fish till my arms fell off . Prunepickers and rattle traps , popping corks , I thing they would have hit bowling balls , but I didnt have any bowling balls in the boat . past 5 days have been perfect weather . Im sure its still good out there but I just got to have a little down time . Fished deep , fished shallow , fished mid depth . it didnt matter . they are everywhere and they are feeding .
if you can go you need to go .   Boat traffic is light . I didnt have a jet ski one try to get in the boat .  Saw very few fishing boats out there . maybe a group of 3 here and there .  I covered a lot of water and fish were everywhere .

Hello everyone my name is chad and I’m new to lake Texoma. I bought a couple tanks from George a few years back and have been fishing lake Lewisville but the wife and I just moved up here to Pottsboro for a little change in pace. I haven’t fished Texoma much so any advice would be greatly appreciated to get me started. My boat is on a hoist at high port so that’s where I would been heading out from. Thanks in advance.

Come out of highport . hang a right and watch for the fish dancing on top of the water . throw trout rigs where you see em breaking . then drop a slab on their little heads . can't go wrong

Well my right wasn’t as lucky this morning as you guys have been. 5 box fish but gonna try again tomorrow. I never saw much surface activity and drove all the way down to Preston point. Found fish on the north side of north island but super hard to get them to bite.
