Well, I been at Lakeside since middle of Sept and will be done next week. The fishing is just awesome. Limited out every day with lots of huge sandies to boot. They were coming up at Mac Creek and then in Oct they been between Washita Point and Alberta Creek. Last 2 days they been coming up from Platter flats to the RR bridge. Catching a lot of 20" plus fish.

Lakeside is full but I will be leaving on Thursday, so B7 will be available around 10am if anyone is planning on coming. There may be more sites available in Nov. Seeing a lot of campers coming and leaving for lack of space. I guess the Oklahoma state park is available. 3584818.jpg

Nice fish, sounds like you have been doing well. Are your fish morning or afternoon bite and what are they hitting. Thanks.

We fished table top to back around Preston to beer garden this morning. Caught a few overs on down riggers at table top and then followed a school surfacing around the point. About 45 fish this morning with several thrown back. Bite was kinda sporatic and the fish didn't want to stay schooled for long periods. Tried stabbing but just couldn't keep fish under us for a decent period. We are about to head out and try the evening bite.

All my fishing is in the morning. Using an umbrella rig with chartusse 4in paddle tail swim shad. I'm not bragging, but had (2) overs caught and a 4 bagger another time. The 4 were under 20 in.

Bait wasn't too bad this past two weekends but my back remembers those long hours of net throwing. We had storms both weekends but still managed to get 20 good keepers on Saturday and 34 on Sunday after the storm. This past weekend more storms and the fish would not bite very well on Saturday, but still managed 34 at Two Rivers. Sunday after the storm, Washita Flats produced a shoot-out with over 50 being caught. It was a good two weekends and I got the work done around the lake house.

BTW the depth at Two Rivers was 32 feet and I threw down the anchor in 22 feet on the Flats. We tried Two Rivers on Sunday, but the wind was just too high.
