Would like to hear what you find is the most effective lure you use when trolling. I’m hoping that my picture of the lure I have been using will post. I have been using a lure from Bass Pro called tail spiinner, and I use the chrome color. I catch everything with it; Striper, Sand, Small Mouth, and cat fish. I think I have caught one crappie on it. All by trolling about 1mph.

Thanks for the input.

I have been using Captain Mack Umbrella rigs for several years now. They continue to catch big fish and are really good for locating schools of active fish. I run them at 3MPH, within 5' of the fish as they are marking on my graph. They work great all year long as long as you don't get too close to other fishermen. If they can hit you with a 2oz Rattle Trap, they will! Be courteous, and don't run over the schools or the other fishermen enjoying the bight!  IMG-1490837686136-V.jpg

Thanks for sharing. I will look up those rigs. I have seen mention of those before, yet have not spoken to anyone who actually uses them. I will give them a try.

And totally agree about trolling up into guides and others.

Thanks,

RICKY Barnes
