I haven't been fishing lately due to oral surgery but I've been hearing some great reports.

Fish are "out west" where they usually are this time of year.  I'm not hearing much from up north but in the past, we've caught nice fish out around the oil platforms and along the river south and north of Newberry Creek.

Bait is pretty thick out west and last Tuesday, the water temps were as high as 52 out there in 25 fow.  As usual, fishing was great Friday prior to the front coming in.  I was laid up in bed but Tom Wyatt was nice enough to let me know that he killed 'em that day.  [smile]

Let those of us who are "grounded" for the time being know what's happening.

I met Chris Oliveri yesterday.  Great guy.  He has a 14 year old son and he and his son are going to start hitting the lake on a regular basis.  I told Chris he really didn't have to wait til he caught a bunch of fish to post on the forum.

We all enjoy just reading what's going on in each other's life.....to a certain extent  KAHUNA  [smile]
